As we celebrate another successful summer of programs, we’re focused on what comes next: creating more pathways for our participants, alumni, and organization to thrive.
We’re developing expanded opportunities for our participants to explore STEM and the arts with our new, free school-year programming; for alumni to engage with mentors, build skills, and receive support throughout their college and career journeys; and for our organization to expand what we can offer to young women and trans and nonbinary youth in NYC.
To achieve these goals, we need to raise $6,000 by September 10th. Can you help us get there with a gift today?

This past April, we launched our Spring Studio Lab, a free weeklong program hosted at the Brooklyn Museum for students in grades six through eight. We’re also establishing a new afterschool program for grades seven through nine this fall. This multiweek workshop series will be open to new and returning participants, and we’re in the process of hiring a Program Coordinator to help us run this and other programs.

As we grow our school-year programming to reach more students, having a dedicated space to plan, prepare, and collaborate is crucial. Our new office space in the Old American Can Factory in Gowanus is a hub for building pathways and connecting our staff, partners, and alumni. With the stability and flexibility it provides, we’re able to host joint planning meetings, Youth Advisory Board gatherings, and professional development sessions, like our training for Teaching Fellows this summer.
These exciting steps forward require increased resources—more staff time, more technology and infrastructure for our office, and more materials and supplies for our workshops. Your consistent support makes all of this possible.
Will you help us pave the way for what’s next?
Together, we can forge pathways to the future for students in NYC.
