This week, our Institute participants are busy creating and refining work to share at the showcase. They’ve also been exploring the history of zines as transformative tools for self-expression, collaboration, and activism, and making zines inspired by their own interests!
They’re also wrapping up reading our Book Club pick, The Sapling Cage by Margaret Killjoy.
Throughout the Institute, our students have been learning how speculative fiction can be used to imagine new possibilities, like in the narrative games they’ve been coding on Twine. You’ll have a chance to play some of these games—and see so many other fantastic creations—at the showcase. Hope to see you there!
