its 6:30am on the last day of school, and you wake up to find that your house is empty.

you decide to look around the house, and search every room
however, you still cant find anyone
all you've noticed is a blue rotary phone by your front door.

you get ready as usual, brushing your teeth, getting dressed, etc.
you realize your cellphone and a few other items around the house seem to be missing.

[[leave the house without it]]you approach the phone, and begin to dial your mom's phone number
you hold the phone to your ear, it makes a strange buzzing noise, but you think nothing of it.
"hello?"
"$name?" you hear on the other side, but it doesnt sound quite right.

"maybe i left it in the living room?" you think to yourself, as it seems to be moved from its usual spot on your nightstand.
you walk down the stairs, and begin to look for your phone. however, you notice that the TV is slightly different from how you remembered it.
[[investigate]] or [[give up ->leave the house without it]]you begin to walk to the front door, grabbing your keys and your backpack, preparing for the day.
you open the door but, this is not your front yard. infront of you is a large meadow, going on for as far as you can see.
you wonder what could be going on, or if your dreaming, but each and every second you spend scanning your surroundings makes the situation feel all the more real.
[[go back home]] or [[keep walking]]startled by the unfamilliar voice, you put the phone down and rush to get out of the house, and on your way to school.

"mom? is that you?" you say.
"yes." you hear on the other side of the phone.
the sound sounds extremely close, and you begin to feel uneasy.
the audio begins to cut out, and you cant make out any of what your hearing.
you walk towards the TV and try to mess with the buttons, clicking everything you see on your remote.
suddenly, the screen flashes and you close your eyes.
you loose vision and begin to see vauge flashes of light. you do anything to try to make it stop, flailing your arms and kicking the air, but there is no use.

there is a moment where everything stops, and you wake up back in your bed.
your parents run into your room, claiming they heard some sort of noises, but you have no recollection of what happened to you. they insist that you had gone to school tommorow as normal, and so do all of your freinds. everyone seems unfamilliar.
you have no idea what happened.

you run back to your front front door and quickly open it.
as soon as you get inside, you start to feel lightheaded and lose your balance.
halfway into your home, you fall to the ground and lose conscience.

one path seems to be a garden, the sun is shining down on the flowers and you can see bees and other small insects surrounding the many plants.
the other path is a dense forest, although dark, you can almost see something at the end of it.
which path do you choose?
[[path one]] or [[path two]]you decide to walk through the garden, as it looked peaceful and welcoming.
you pass by various types of flowers, like lillies, poppies, marigolds, and more.
as you got closer to the end of the path, you began to see a bright light, surrounded by and arch made of vines.
not knowing what else to do, you decide to enter the arch and hope for the best.

you open your eyes to find yourself in a hospital bed, the room is empty and you have an IV and oxygen mask. the clock on the wall says that its 9:47am, three days after school ended.
confused, you rest for a few minutes, wondering what couldve happened to lead you here.
in about an hour, your parents and a nurse enter the room to find you awake.
they look completely shocked, and begin to explain that you had been in a coma for a few days, and that doctors couldnt tell what caused the coma, or when youd wake up from it.
after a few days of recovery, you are able to return to your home and live life as normal, eventually letting go from the situation and moving on.
