Banana Anna woke up one day, surrounded by beings in all shapes and sizes. Circles, squares, and rectangles all moved around her, as if they moved along a current.
She looks around where she's sleeping, only to discover she's laying on a patch of grass in a park. No one seems to be paying her any mind, everyone minding their own business. Perchance this is common here, Banana Anna thought.
Nothing is common here. All these shapes, so different from the humble crescent moons in Banana Land, each have a special characteristic to them. They are not perfect shapes, with slight ridges and curves in every single one of them.

Slowly rising from her makeshift bed on the grass, Banana Anna feels every bone aching and her head is spinning. "What even happened?", Banana Anna ponders to herself. She stands up straight, a failed attempt to look like she belongs.
A rectangle in the current glances near her, almost as if he were looking at her. She looks back, only to realize that he's looking at something far away behind her. She turns, only to realize theres nothing there. "Odd.", she says to herself.
Walking away from her spot in the grass, she walks toward a circle. The circle, sitting on a bench, looks like an elderly woman, with glasses that frame her cheery face. She's reading the Daily Geometry, a newspaper that seems to have never-ending pages.

[[Go back!->Waking up]] Sitting down slowly, Banana Anna looks around. "Is anyone paying attention to me?" she ponders to herself. Having second thoughts about asking the elderly circle, second thoughts about even getting up, thoughts consume Banana Anna.
Sensing the inner turmoil, the elderly circle turns around.
[["You're not from around here, honey." She says like it's not even a question.-> mystery]]Sitting next to the circle on the bench, Banana Anna acts like she knows what she's doing. Keeping her movements fluid and unsuspecting, Banana Anna slides next to the circle.
"What's new on the newspaper?" Banana Anna asks.
"Nothing much, new shapes coming into town, some rectangles mad, same old same old." the circle says as she looks up. Squinting up at Banana Anna, her face changes. She smiles warmly at Banana Anna, looking every last bit like a comforting grandmother.
"Whats your name, honey?" she asks Banana Anna.
"Banana Anna, and yours?" Banana Anna asks, hoping shes not pushing her luck.
"My name is (print: $name).
(set: $name to (prompt:"What name would you like to choose?", "name"))"Is it that obvious?" Banana Anna responds tentatively.
"Yes, dear." The elderly circle responds. "Don't worry, it's not out of the ordinary. Tons of people wake up here, wondering how and when they got here.".
"How does that even happen?" Banana Anna asks in shock. "Is this a dream?"
The elderly circle picks up a pebble on the bench, and flings it into the shapes walking in the middle. An angered rhombus turns and gives a nasty look to the elderly circle, who is chuckling at their reaction.
"Very much real." The elderly circle says while smiling. "My name is Circle Cindy and you're?".
