If you would like to play as Daren Ravennuth click his name. He is a stout chuby dwarf. His alignment is chaotic good. He has green eyes. He is about 4'7". He has dark brown hair and he is 25 years old. His backstory is that his father died when he was young, he was an over worked palace guard and died for a king who didn't even come to his funeral. He has known his friend Zarnax since he was little and they both started a group called the kingdom whispers, a group that shall one day bring morals back to their fair kingdom.

She is a child of a kingdom at war with its morals, whether it be my fathers choices as king or the kingdom whispers. She has glittering pink eyes, long blonde hair, and shimmering skin. You wake on the roof of a townhouse that you’ve been staying in. You are hung over and smelly you take a big swig of the flask in your pocket because you know you will need it [[do you go back in the window you crawled out of->2A]][[ or do you go down the drain pipe.->2B]]

(Zarnax) I guess you went for your last hurrah last night. Anyway now that you're here, let’s get started.
You are very hungover and you aren’t really listening because you’ve heard this so many times. Something you hear about the princess is new but you don’t pay any mind to it. Everyone is at the town square.
Zarnax says "You know the plan."
The regal, eloquent and beautiful royal family comes out on their carriages for the Royals parade.
(Zarnax) Barton get the princess.

You climb down the drain pipe and go to the bar. Liquid courage is more important then going over the plan for the millionth time with Zarnax. After the bar you meet up with everyone in the town square. The entire town is at the town square.
Zarnax says you know the plan.

[[GAME OVER->character]]You go get the princess you tell Barton.
There's been a change of plans, you get the king I’ll get her.
She says "please don’t hurt me ."
(You )I’m not going to hurt you, but if you want to live we must run now.
she takes your hand
[[do you take her back to the hideout->variant story]] [[or to the forest.->4b]]You wake in your beautiful room in the Andurus Palace. It’s the day of the royal parade. So you and your ladies maids dress you and put on your makeup. You get into your carriage for the parade. The trumpets are sounded and the parade starts. You and the family march out and then boom crash there is an explosion and you are thrown from your carriage. You are separated from your guards. As you come to your senses a stout smelly dwarf is standing over you with an outreached hand.
(Dwarf) I know you have no reason to trust me but if you want to live we must run now.

.Can you get back to the hideout that you were staying in with Zarnax. You and the princess are able to settle for long enough to get a plan together. And just before you can get out of there Zarnax’s men come and find you. You try to fight but it’s futile. These men are half Orcs and they’re stronger and taller than you so they haul you off to the palace prison. A few days pass and the guards stop checking on you; they don’t even bring meals or drinks. On an early morning you hear a low clicking from the cell next to you where the princess is and she’s using a small glowing gray lock pick made of magic.
(You) Holy shit you can do magic!
(Princess ) Yes now shush I’m trying to focus.
(You) Where was that the other day when we were getting our ass's kicked.
Click! Her door is unlocked she walks out and starts working on your door.
(Princess) You’re going to have to quiet down or you’re going to get us killed.
You follow her orders and then proceeds to answer your questions
(Princess) I know enough to get us out of sticky situations like this one but no combat magic. At least as of a few days ago.
You hear a click she swings your door open and she hands you a brown leather book with bright purple sigils on it .
(Princess) Study fast We haven’t much time and we must take back the kingdom from Zarnax

[[or do you do this just the two of you ->5b variant ]]You get to the forest. The only structure you know of that could be safe is a treehouse you built with your father when you were a boy. You are running in the forest and you twist your ankle on a rock but you push through and get to the treehouse. Limping you sit down inside, the princess draws the blinds.
(Princess) May I take a look at your leg.
You nod yes she cups her hands around both sides of your ankle and a warm yellow light radiates from her hands. You jump back.
(You) What the hell you can do magic! Why didn’t you use it back there When they were chasing us?!
(Princess) I’m supposed to hide it so people don’t try and take advantage of my magic but, no matter....your name is Daren Ravennuth, right?
[[Do you lie and say no ->5a]] [[or say yes and possibly face consequences->5b]](You) Maybe we should find your father, he could help us.
(Princess) Yes of course, he has probably the most intimate and deep knowledge of this castle.
You find the king's cell
(King) Oh my daughter you are so wise to have made it this far.
(Princess)Yes well it was all in stride for a better tomorrow for our kingdom.
(You)Sorry to cut this family reunion short, but I was wondering if you could tell us anything that might help us defeat Zarnax.
(King) Oh yes my boy there is a secret door just behind the throne in the throne room you can sneak in through there and get the element of surprise.
(You) Yes thank you my king but I think it would be safer here for now, we will come back and find you when this is all over.

You go straight to the throne room but without a chance to study, Zarnax kills you and the princess before you get in the door.
[[game over start again ->character]]You go to the secret entrance you don’t even need a spell. You sneak up and slit Zarnax’s throat. You won back the kingdom only at the price of your oldest friend and a slightly traumatized boy that was in the room when you killed Zarnax.
You walk straight in to the throne room
(Zarnax) Sh the witch and The traitor.
(You) The only time I was the traitor was when I was with you.

A miracle as your first act of magic hits and he is weakened. The princess sends a royaling and crackling bolt of necrotic energy that ages him before your very eyes. To the point of decomposer as the princesses has now avenged her kingdom.
You continue to talk and try to appeal to that young boy with a dream that you originally became friends with, but his hunger for power has drowned out that kind soul you once knew. Before you get a sentence out you feel a warm pain in your chest your best friend and oldest comrade has struck you down out of madness and greed.
[[game over start again ->character]](Princess) Oh sure you are. I Recognized you as soon as I got a good look at your face. Well Daren your father used to work in the castle as a guard before you were born.
(You) the king!!
(Princess) Yes the king. Anyway he gave your father a book, a book of combat magic. It is bound in brown leather and has purple sigil‘s on it. No one could know that your father had this book or even was a trusted liaison of the king. So that this plan couldn’t have been thwarted, that’s why we never came to his funeral. But he gave your father this book in case of emergencies like this one. Since he’s not here I guess you’ll have to do.
You look around but you don’t see the book but across the room you see a floorboard ajar, you walk over and lift the floorboard and there is the book. You pick it up and you begin your training. You train for three days. Then both you and the princess walk back to town. Zarnax has moved his throne room outside to the palace steps so the commoners can come to shower their ill gotten king with gifts. You and the princess walk up to the palace steps you come face-to-face with Zarnax.
(Zarnax) Ah The satanic witch and her bumbling oaf who causes many problems for me.
(Prinses) Well then we should be no concern to you. You rotten king we are here for our kingdom and that alone.
(Zarnax) Well really? Cause the other day Daren you were here for me.
(You) Well that was before I saw your true colors Zarnax.
(Zarnax) Well OK then are we going to fight or just stand here and talk?

You try to appeal to him but before you can finish your sentence you’re killed by your oldest comrade and you left the kingdom in ruin.
[[game over start again ->character]]You take his hand and run. He takes you to a small townhouse in the grit and grime of the city. You walk in and inside see several men hurt and ragged, gathered around a table with a map. As you walk in they all look to attention.
(Dwarf) don’t worry she’s with me.
One of the men walks up to you and the dwarf
(Zarnax) DAREN! Come talk with me over here.
(You) ahh so Daren that’s your name.
The dwarf nods to you and then hastily walks to the other part of the room with his friend
(Zarnax) So how do you know that we can trust her.
Before Daren can answer you storm over there.
(You) Listen I know my father does not deserve to be king but I also know that he doesn’t hold the same value to a life as I do. So the only reason I even consider supporting him is because I know I’ll make a fair and good queen. I will redeem my father’s actions!
As you say this in the mirror behind them you see your eyes turn a steel gray and green leafy vines spiral around your skin like veins.
With a smirk on his face
(Zarnax) Sorry princess for infuriating you. We just wanted to see if the rumors were true about your bloodline.
(You) What rumors what about my bloodline.
(Daren) wait you mean you truly don’t know?
(You) truly.
(Daren) your bloodline is full of powerful magic called life force magic. It means you have the power to affect life itself whether it means plants grow and you can heal or necrotic dark powers such as your father uses that can age people to the point of decomposition.
As the plants fade from your face.
(Daren)Princess this means you have a chance to affect change now, not years or centuries from now like you propose. With proper training in a matter of days you could be queen of our kingdom.
(You)That would mean pulling a dangerous coup and like you said my father is already so powerful.
(Daren) we already have people in place to execute this coup. They are just waiting for a signal to put a plan into action. In a matter of days.

You train for three days straight, with the magic of life and light. On the fourth day of training Daren suddenly interupts.
(Daren) Princecss the men are ready. We have ben waiting for this day for a long time and I know you have too, our soon to be queen.
(you) Well if the soldeiers are redy I will be as well. Send the signal. We shall have a new rule in this kingdom by morning.
(Daren with a smirk) Yes my queen!
You scoff at his humorous tone but know tonight is forbode with peril.
You and the rest of the soldeiers are standing at the table with a map. They start talking of how to best sneak into the castle. You realise that thare is a secret entrance in to the throne room that is not detailed on the map.
[[Do you speak your mind about the secret entrance ->c1]][[or do you keep quiet?->c2]]You rufuse to lurn this dark magic that corrupted your father, so the kingdom whispers gather their weapons. They try to execute the coup without your magic but they are unsuccsesful and the kingdom falls further in to ruin.
[[game over->character]]You use the secret door to get in to the palace. When you see your father for what is probably the last time memories of a benevolent and kind king with a loving family come flooding back to you.

As you power up yor magic a warm bright light radiates from you. Branches and vines grow like veins under your skin. Your hair sprouts beautiful flowers. Your eyes go grey and in one shot you kill your father where he stands. You walk over to the royal throne and as you are in your earth goddess form the throne sprouts with leaves flowers and branches that form in to the shape of the animals life that you protect. All of the pepole in the room with smiles on their faces say.
